TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions apply to all products and services provided by Walk On Wood as described on this website. Our acceptance of your order by delivery of the goods constitutes a legally binding contract between the buyer and the company on these terms and conditions. Placing of an order implies acceptance of these terms and conditions. We want our customers to be 100% delighted with our service.

PRICES

We reserves the right to revise prices at any time without notice. Customers retain the right to cancel orders where prices are required to be changed and will recieve a full refund if requested.

Orders containing products listed with an incorrect price due to techncial, typographical, human error or incorrect pricing details from suppliers, will be subject to order cancellation.

delivery

Information given on date or time of delivery is given in good faith. However we cannot accept responsibility for any delays in delivery as a result of factors that could reasonably be considered outwith our control. 

It is the customer’s obligation to examine all goods upon delivery. If you are unfortunate and receive damaged goods, or there are missing item(s) please make sure it is noted on the courier’s paperwork and contact us within 24 hours. Claims for damages will be considered where notification is received within four days of delivery. 

Customers may be charged for failed deliveries where delivery arrangements were not upheld by the customer.  

No claims for damage or shortfall will be entered into if the above conditions are not met.

Having said all that, we have an excellent delivery record and damages are extremely rare so please order in confidence. 

 

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. A cancellation will only be accepted when it will not cause loss or cost to Walk on Wood. No cancellations will be accepted after installation has progressed.

RETURN OF GOODS

Excess materials may be return to Walk on Wood for appropriate credit under the following circumstances.

  • The return of goods must be made within 21 days from the date of purchase.
  • All goods for return must be in unopened packaging and will be subject to a visual inspection for damages.
  • Cuts cannot be accepted
  • Walk on Wood reserve the right to charge a restock fee where costs are incurred in accepting returns.

TITLE TO GOODS

Walk on Wood shall retain ownership of all goods supplied until the customer has made full payment. Until full payment, goods shall be properly stored and maintained in good condition for a period of 14 days.

 

PLACING OF AN ORDER

We reserve the right to accept or refuse any order. When a customer makes a purchase by phone, online or in person,  they are entering into a legally binding Contract and accept the terms laid out on this page. 

Termination

Walk on Wood reserves the right to suspend supply, delivery and/or installation should the buyer breach any obligation or terms as described on this page.  Upon termination, any debt owed becomes immediately due and payable and the company shall be under no further obligation to supply goods to the buyer.

Limit of Liability

Walk on Wood shall not be held liable for damage or injury caused by its goods, services or workmanship beyond fair replacement of goods. Walk on Wood shall not be liable for any loss arising from failure or delay in supply or installation.

Installations

Where installation of materials supplied is not undertaken by Walk on Wood the buyer shall be responsible for assembly in accordance with manufacturer instructions. Failure to assemble goods as per manufacturer instructions will invalidate any claim for damage caused to, or by the goods.

COMPLAINTS

Walk on Wood strive to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. In the interests of achieving this aim, we provide the following complaints procedure. 

  • Please submit any complaint in writing/e-mail.
  • Your complaint will be formally responded to within 14 days by a member of the Walk on Wood team.
  • If you an unsatisfied with the response, you can request that your complaint is escalated to the manager. A manager response will be given in writing within 7 days of escalation.
  • Although very rare, Walk on Wood will be happy to pursue manufacturing faults with manufacturers on your behalf.
  • Please note that wooden flooring is subject to colour variation. Please visit our showroom and requests samples.

defects

Customers are responsible for examining purchased goods and notifying Walk on Wood of any defects.  No claims for damages can be accepted post installation.
